The Brick is a small computer device made to do a specific job.  It is very small, approximately 1" x 2" x 4", very rugged, potted in epoxy, and will operate in adverse conditions.  It is addressable on a network, and will communicate on the Gellert Communications Network.  There are several types of Bricks, each made to do a specific job.
